Who we are
We understand what works in business because we’ve been there. lift was created by Katrina Wray and Eileen Melville, who both worked in commercial organisations before joining forces.
We deliver the majority of our programmes and workshops ourselves, but we also work with a group of talented and trusted associates who have the same high standards.
Katrina Wray
Has a professional background in helping leaders get the best out of themselves and their teams, spanning more than fourteen years. She has worked both as an HR specialist in a commercial organisation, and as an independent consultant across many industry sectors.
Having seen it from both sides, Katrina works equally well with directors and HR professionals who have broader strategic goals, and leaders and managers facing tough people challenges.
Katrina has a BSc Hons in Psychology and membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She is accredited in behavioural diagnostics using the Schroder framework. People describe her as clear, insightful and pragmatic.
Eileen Melville
Has a background in business (over fifteen years’ experience of working in leadership positions in a major media company). She has spent the last few years as an independent consultant working with leaders and senior teams in a variety of industry sectors.
Her solid business experience means she understands the difference between an interesting theory and something that actually works with people in today’s fast-moving organisations. Eileen is particularly interested in how groups work together to make decisions – and believes even the most ‘difficult’ can do so effectively when they know how.
Eileen has an M.A., BSc (Hons) in Psychology, is a qualified teacher and accredited in behavioural diagnostics using the Schroder framework. People describe her as inspirational, innovative and great at tuning into the needs of the group.
